Oh, baby! Lunch was amazing! We ordered family style and shared a selection of pulled smoked pork over crispy fries(The Porker), Carolina smoked pork tacos, fried onion rings, and mac & cheese bites. Dessert was a "to die for" chocolte cupcake with a peanut butter frosting. It really paired well with the dark porter I had with my lunch. The owners are nice folks, too. Very recommended!
I had their Mac Attack (or it's called something like that). It is a burger with some fried gouda mac and cheese on top. It was delicious. I also tried the pulled pork soft tacos. They were very good as well. This is a place that should be on the map for anyone who lives in or visits Huntsville.
You are greeted with a sign on the door listing precluded behavior: no water bottles, so they can sell you their overpriced bottles, no unsweetened tea, no rest rooms unless you eat. That's just the start of surly service and rancid food from this grungy joint which is only distinguished by the fact that it's the only place available for ten miles.
Snarky surly service at best. List if items not to even ask for posted at the door. Don't even try to your own water in. Clearly price, service, and quality gouging as the only option within 10 miles of the lake. Bring your grocs in from Ogden. Better yet, stop at Eden's amazing Valley Market!
Great food, great service. The fries are to die for, super crispy outside, but soft and fluffy in the middle. Burger was delicious and I look forward to returning for some BBQ. The staff was super friendly and helped make our experience memorable.
